Safety Is Our Top Priority


The nature of what we do often involves working in hazardous environments. Because of that, we live, breathe, and teach safety. Our employees are required to wear protective suits, eyewear, boots, and, in some cases, breathing apparatus. Each manhole and sewer is tested prior to anyone entering a confined space. At EIS, “Safety is a way of life.”


We follow the goals established by OSHA in order to provide work and a place of work that are free from recognized hazards. That applies to our employees, clients, subcontractors, and any others working with us. Our safety program has the total support of all management levels. We’ve found that through exercising diligence, good judgment, and common sense, the occurrence of accidents can be substantially reduced.

  • Foremen conduct weekly on-the-job safety meetings to constantly restate our safety emphasis.
  • We conduct on-site safety inspections every week on every project to ensure procedures are being followed and that the site is free from hazards.
  • We are a drug- and alcohol-free work place.
